• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Texas Drivers License required
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate and follow directions clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Skilled in the use of general tools and testing equipment pertinent to the job

The position requires occasional walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting/carrying work related items weighing less than 40 pounds, such as books, papers and presentation materials. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Attendance at conferences and professional development is required. Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.

Additional Information

• Work requires sufficient physical strength, agility, dexterity and hand-eye-foot coordination to perform all essential functions, including lifting and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds, reaching in front of body and overhead while holding objects weighing up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, bending over equipment, crawling under equipment, working in confined spaces and in uncomfortable positions, and balancing self, materials and tools on high and/or slanted surfaces. Work also involves frequent kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching and climbing. Work is performed both inside and outside buildings and facilities. Employee is subject to adverse weather conditions, extreme temperatures and high noise levels. Employee is also exposed to potential hazards associated with cleaning chemicals, flammable liquids, and the operation of tools, equipment and machinery. Employee is required to wear and use safety clothing and equipment and to comply with safety policies and procedures
