Summary

The primary purpose of this position will be to plan, develop, implement and consult on a variety of programs and venues to accomplish results oriented outcomes and promote the values and goals of the department. This position provides expertise and guidance to ILEAD clients related to training approaches to enhance quality of care for veterans or improve business practices throughout VHA.

Duties

This announcement is open to current, permanent VHA ILEAD (Station 131) employees only. Applicants that are not internal ILEAD employees will not be considered.

The major duties of this position include but are not limited to: Plan, develop, implement and consult on a variety of programs and venues to accomplish results oriented outcomes and promote the values and goals of the department. Works with the team in the performance of a variety of duties associated w/ program/project implementation and promotion, establishing criteria and conditions for program and/or project evaluation, coordinating program/project activities, and contracts administration. Conducts regular interactions with colleagues and supervisors in order to complete work assignments. Administers and resolves policy, program and project issues associated with educational programs. Provides advice and assistance in the implementation of educational programs/projects. Independently performs problem analyses, training situation analyses, and job-task analyses to support the functional design and development of training systems to solve training problems. Provides educational expertise during design and development phase to program planning participants ensuring that content and design meets sound educational models, continuing education accreditation requirements, and supports the goals of the program. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
