ASC-28676- Echo Technician - Manhattan, KS - 13 Weeks ContractSigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a Echo Technician to work onsite at our client's healthcare facility in Manhattan, KS.Shift: 07:30 - 16:00Summary: Echo technicians are who have specialized in using echocardiogram technology to produce images of patient's hearts. Responsibilities: Performs echocardiograms, stress test, stress echoes, and Dobutamine stress echo. Assists cardiologist with transesophageal echocardiograms. Consults with cardiologist for interpretation of test results. Maintains records of testing for documentation. Provides daily account of patient's charge requisition with appropriate ICD9 codes. Provides training and acts as a resource for echocardiogram students, residents and physicians. Provides testing for add-on emergency patients. Maintains complete and up-to-date documentation and files at all times, including products and service quotes. Other duties as assigned. Echocardiography License and Certifications: BLS and one or more of the following: Cardiac Sonographer specializing in adult echo credentialed from the American Registry for diagnostic medical sonography (ARDMS). Advanced pediatric echo or fetal echo also accepted Sono tech specializing in cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Advanced cardiac sonographer or Registered congenital cardiac sonographer is also acceptable.
