Job Description:

At least 1 year of work experience as ICU Medical Director Director of Pulmonary Medicine or Pulmonary Medical Director (not including residency/fellowship experiences)Board Certified in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine or Internal Medicine/Critical Care Medicine (NOT open to Surgical Critical Care providers)
This position would require familiarity and work at both our inpatient ICUs St. Peter s Hospital in Albany New York and Samaritan Hospital in Troy New York. Outpatient coverage would be located in Troy. Providers who have Sleep Medicine training and experience will work one day per week in the Sleep Center.The team at Pulmonary and Critical Care Services strive to provide a quality patient experience while offering the most current treatment options and services. Services include a full pulmonary function laboratory spirometry chest xray ECG oximetry Endobronchial Ultrasound.The ICU Medical Director opportunity is 0.2 FTE administrative/ 0.8 FTE clinicalHospitalemployed positionAdministrative responsibilities include workflow implementation determination of quality metrics handling of inquiries quality case reviews etc. with direct reporting to the CMOClosed ICUThis role is fulltime with call rotation (night call 23 times per month one of which will occur on a weekend).No overnights (24/7 Critical Care Coverage)Schedule is outlined as:
1 week per month ICU1 week per month pulmonary consultsWeekend coverage is 1 in every 4 or 5 weeks and predominantly at Samaritan Hospital2 weeks per month in office (if certified in Sleep one day per week will be in Sleep Center)Open to H1B visa candidates but cannot accept J1 waivers
Not accepting Locums candidates
Client cannot clear local candidates within 30 miles of their institutions.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: xx400000xx425000 with incentives (The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses incentives related to quality and performance extra shift incentives and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.)Additional administrative stipendRelocation Allowance if applicable: The amount is determined by the distance they are moving from to the facility. It is a reimbursementbased system.
