The Hardware Scrum Master will be responsible for leading the end-to-end development of Rack PDU (Power Distribution Unit) projects and hardware product development.

What will you do?
  • Coach, guide, and mentor the team to deliver the product at contracted cost, quality, time.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile and commonly used Agile tools such as Jira.
  • Drive scrum rituals (daily stand-up, sprint planning, demo, retrospective) and coach squad on Agile best practices.
  • Coordinate among various stakeholders, manage interdependencies, and remove impediments.
  • Drive risk management sessions with the team to not only mitigate risks in a timely fashion, but to also anticipate new risks.
  • Prepare and manage project budget (Opex & Capex) and align with LOB finance to agree on IRR/GM goals.
  • Work closely with the product owner to create and maintain the product backlog.
  • Ability to lead with clear transparency to management, escalating risks in a timely manner and seeking support as needed.
  • Track and report the scrum metrics (sprint velocity, say-do ratio, etc) after each sprint.
  • Facilitate an open discussion with the team during retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and maximum efficiency within the team.
  • Interface with other scrum masters to align interdependencies and key milestones to develop an integration plan and overall delivery schedule.
  • Work closely with supply chain and industrialization teams to ensure timely delivery of the product.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team members in complex decision making situations.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • BS - Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or similar field.
  • PMP / Agile certifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in hardware product development.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Experience managing hardware projects utilizing electronic components.
  • Ability to prioritize time in a fast paced environment.
