Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Attorney to join our team in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, including experience in advising clients on a wide range of employment-related matters, handling employment litigation, and providing training and compliance assistance.

Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various employment law matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, and employee relations. Draft and review employment-related agreements, policies, and procedures, including employment contracts, employee handbooks, and severance agreements. Represent clients in employment-related litigation matters, including administrative hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings. Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in employment law to provide informed guidance to clients. Develop and conduct training programs for clients on topics such as harassment prevention, diversity and inclusion, and compliance with state and federal employment laws. Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to provide comprehensive legal services to clients and contribute to the growth and success of the firm.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar. 2 to 7+ years of experience practicing employment law, with a focus on advising clients and handling employment litigation matters. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and California Labor Code. Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
