Mail SorterThe Job Center is Hiring for associates on 2nd shift for Mail Sorters in the City of Grand Prairie, TX area. This is a great opportunity for a temp to hire placement.Compensation/Shift/Benefits of Mail Sorter$16.50 an hourMonday-Friday 4:30pm-12:30am (with some Weekends***)Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTOEligibility for the Work and Win Program - Rent/Mortgage paid for a yearResponsibilities of Mail SorterPrepare outgoing metered mail by reviewing proper date, postage and barcodesCommunicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in the mailTroubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machinePerform all additional duties as required.Requirements of Mail SorterBackground Compliant Basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native languageThe ability to work overtime which includes weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or potential no advance noticeThe ability to be dependable and reliable.Physical demands and ability- lift up to 55lbs with or without accommodations and walk, stand stoop and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.APPLY by clicking Apply Now or come to 3328 Harwood Rd Bedford, TX 76021 between 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday.
