Join the award winning Centennial Park Aquatic Center (CPAC) this summer supporting the Cashier's Office front-end operations. CPAC has been recognized as the Chicago southlands’ premiere pool boasting a facility capacity of over 1700 patrons, voted #1 public pool by Chicago Magazine, and bringing in over 100,000 patrons each season. 

Key Responsibilities

As a CPAC Cashier you will:

greet all CPAC visitors in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner provide exceptional customer service maintain the front gate operations in an orderly fashion verify memberships and residency handle cash transactions light cleaning

Responsibilities also include directing patrons, providing information, dispatching slides, and managing boat/kayak rentals.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be 16 years old or older as of opening day of Pool season for 2024.

Proficient computer skills are required. Must enjoy working outdoors during the summer months. Prior cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.

Ability to work during the entire 2024 summer season beginning late May through late August/early September is required . Approximately 15-19 hours per week, shifts vary. Availability for weekdays and weekends required for various morning/afternoon/closing shifts. Must be available to work summer holidays, including July 4th.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay rate is $14.25 per hour.
