At GE Aerospace, we're seeking a pivotal individual to lead as the FLRAA Program Change Management/Risk Manager for the FLRAA Program.

This role is central to the creation and oversight of comprehensive program-level change and risk management strategies. You will lead the efforts in developing the standard work and criteria for managing these aspects of the program effectively and support establishing the framework for cross-functional Program Control and Risk Boards, ensuring a consistent approach within GE's programs and in collaboration with Bell.

The essence of this role is to proactively manage program-level changes and risks and the impact to the program. Your efforts in the FLRAA program will not only address these challenges but also enhance our capabilities and establish best practices for future endeavors. The impact of your work will be evident in the program's operational rigor, affecting cost, schedule, and scope.

Job Description

As the FLRAA Program Change Management/Risk Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and leading the standard work for Change and Risk Management across the entire program.
  • Managing and leading the Program Change Board (PCB), including setting its cadence, agenda, and maintaining the change log for both GE and Bell-directed changes.
  • Collaborating with the program teams to identify change triggers and facilitate the PCB process.
  • Partnering closely with Bell to coordinate changes through both the GE PCB and the Joint Change Review Board.
  • Leading the Program Risk Review, establishing its cadence, and maintaining a comprehensive Program Risks, Issues, and Opportunities Register.
  • Engaging with program teams to identify and elevate risks and opportunities for review.
  • Overseeing the Program Risk burndown to provide a clear view of the program's risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Standard Work Creation and Ownership: Develop and implement standard procedures for Change and Risk Management.
  • Program Change Board (PCB) Management: Lead the PCB, including setting its schedule, agenda, and maintaining a log of changes directed by both GE and Bell.
  • Collaboration with Program Teams: Work closely with teams to identify change triggers and facilitate the PCB process.
  • Partnership with Bell: Coordinate with Bell on changes, ensuring alignment between the GE PCB and the Joint Change Review Board.
  • Program Risk Review Process Focal: Organize and lead the Program Risk Review, maintaining a Program Risks, Issues and Opportunities Register.
  • Risks, Issues and Opportunities Management: Collaborate with program teams to identify and elevate risks and opportunities for review.
  • Program Risk Burndown Monitoring: Oversee the tracking of program risks and opportunities, providing a comprehensive view of the program's risk exposure.


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited university or college.
  • At least 5 years of experience in roles such as Program Manager, Project Manager, Product Manager, or Engineering Manager within the Aerospace Industry.


Preferred Characteristics:
  • Knowledge of avionics hardware and/or systems integration.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Proactive and independent, with the ability to manage various stakeholders and achieve program execution.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in program/project management.
  • Proficiency in project/program management tools and processes, including earned value management.
  • Preferred candidates will have a strong background in avionics hardware or systems integration, excellent communication skills, and proven project management abilities.
  • US Security Clearance.
  • Financial Literacy, P&L Leadership & Business Risk experience.
