Job Description:

Position Overview: They are seeking a talented and motivated Insurance Coverage Attorney to join their team in California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance law, with a focus on coverage analysis, policy interpretation, and insurance litigation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex and challenging matters in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough analysis of insurance policies to determine coverage obligations and potential exposures. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance coverage issues, including interpretation of policy language and applicability of coverage. Assess claims and disputes arising under various types of insurance policies, including general liability, property, professional liability, and directors and officers (D&O) liability. Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and coverage position letters. Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Collaborate effectively with clients, claims professionals, and other attorneys to develop and implement successful strategies for resolving coverage disputes. Stay current with developments in insurance law and industry trends. Assist with business development efforts, including client outreach and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the California State Bar with good standing. Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing insurance law, with a focus on insurance coverage matters.
