Job Purpose:

  • Support the installation, testing, and repair of new and reworked products and equipment for our client.\r
\r

Key Interactions:

  • Internal: Services operations, Customer Services, and Engineering teams.\r
\r

\r

Main Responsibilities:
\r
  • \r
  • Install, test, and repair new and reworked products and equipment for our client.\r
  • Ensure all equipment, service tooling, and spare parts are on location and ready for use by performing inventories and function-fit tasks prior to each job.\r
  • Record critical information such as dimensions, weights, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates. Assist with product testing, running, and assembly procedures as needed.\r
  • Provide project support for new projects, including assisting with Factory Acceptance Tests and Systems Integration Testing.\r
  • Prepare and complete safety-related documentation and promote safe work practices.\r

  • Entry-level position executing tasks according to detailed department procedures.\r
  • Regular contact with a supervisor or more senior technicians.\r
\r

Work Environment:
\r
  • \r
  • Primarily field-based, including offshore drilling and production platforms, land-based drilling and production platforms, installation vessels, and international locations.\r
  • Work conditions are dependent on the elements (heat, cold, wet, etc.).\r
  • The job often requires working in high noise areas and dirty environments.\r
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule with extended hours.\r

Requirements:
\r
  • \r
  • High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma.\r
  • 6 months of relevant experience.\r
  • Basic knowledge in one or more of the following fields: electrical, subsea equipment, hydraulics equipment, mechanical equipment and tools, structural steel.\r
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.\r
  • Proficiency with technical tools and instruments necessary for the job.\r
