Summary

The Robley Rex VA Healthcare System is currently recruiting for two Licensed Practical Nurse position in the Emergency Department.

Duties

Functions of Assigned Duties include but not limited to the following: Assist RN's and physicians during exams and medical procedures. Obtain and record patient's medical histories/triage. Obtain and record patient's vital signs. Transport patients to various parts of the medical facility. Collect and transport bodily samples for laboratory analysis. Prepare and administer prescribed injections, medications, enemas, etc. Prepare simple wound care dressings. Perform EKG's. Perform one on one observation of patients when needed. Clean, prepare and adequately stock patient rooms/unit All other duties as assigned by nurse manager/supervisor.
Work Schedule : Nights and at the needs of the service
Telework : Not available
Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
Relocation/Recruitment Incentives : $6,000 recruitment incentive is authorized with a two year commitment
