Supplier Fulfillment Specialist

In this role you will work with suppliers to ensure delivery of hardware, capacity, readiness, and raw materials are positioned to support delivery schedules. In this role the employee will build relationships with key assigned vendors and this person will gain visibility over sub-tier supplier performance, constraints and help suppliers influence their sub-tiers to resolve issues affecting their deliveries. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
This role is responsible for departmental delivery operations and responsible for planning/execution from the suppliers to hit hardware deliveries. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Partner with suppliers to work towards a common shared goal of hardware execution.
- Project management of key specific suppliers to help drive delivery execution.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Fundamental understanding of Lean processes to resolve part and supplier constraints and has the ability to identify opportunities for corrective actions.
- Own commits and improvement plans at PN level, leveraging order book review
- Drive execution of NPI, design changes, or transition plans
- Identify & execute action plans around PN/ Supplier constraints
- Ensure Suppliers data and milestone plan integrity
- Manage data, understand enablers to drive supplier On Time Delivery, utilizing Supplier Expectations Performance Management (SEPM)
- Ability to work with some autonomy and think critically.
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years of supply chain management experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of supply chain management experience).
