Job Summary:
Senior Helpers - South OC is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in Lake Forest, California. This is a full-time role, working 36+ hours a week, with 12 hour shifts. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to our clients who are seniors or individuals with disabilities. Experienced caregivers who are skilled in dementia/ Alzheimer's, personal care (toileting, incontinence, turning, positioning, showers/ bathing, transferring, etc.) are HIGHLY encouraged to apply

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. OT hours are highly likely

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Help with medication reminders and administration.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities with clients.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning.
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client care and report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator or supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the well-being of clients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
-Active HCA caregivers can start immediately
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field preferred. Ideally 10+ years.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding towards clients.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Willing to work 12-hour shifts.
