We are currently seeking an ICU Nurse Manager for our client facility located in Kearney Nebraska. Kearney is a vibrant and growing city in the heart of Nebraska offering a high quality of life with a low cost of living. Contract Details:

This is a fulltime position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The contract will be for a minimum of one year with the potential for extension based on performance.

Job Description:

As the ICU Nurse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of the ICU department and ensuring the delivery of highquality patient care. You will lead a team of dedicated nurses and work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise a team of ICU nurses providing guidance and support as needed

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations of the ICU department

Monitor patient care and ensure compliance with established standards and protocols

Collaborate with physicians healthcare providers and other departments to coordinate patient care

Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and maintain budgetary goals

Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff

Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices and evidencebased care

Serve as a liaison between the ICU department and other departments within the facility

Handle any issues or concerns that arise within the department in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of Nebraska

Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters degree preferred

Minimum of 35 years of experience in an ICU setting

Previous management or leadership experience preferred

Strong communication organizational and problemsolving skills

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals

Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and best practices

BLS and ACLS certification required; CCRN certification preferred
