Summary

ORGANIZATIONAL LOCATION:
Department of Health & Health Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Southwest Region, Phoenix Area, Administrative Services-Facility Support Department, Fort Yuma Service Unit, located in Winterhaven, California. Position is supervised by the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Duties

Major Duties: Program duties: Designs, coordinates, manage and administer a facilities engineering program within the Indian Health Service. Plans annual facilities activity program to provide for maintenance and repair of buildings and structures, facilities, utilities and clinical equipment. Supervisory duties: Directly supervise Supervisory Maintenance Mechanic and is responsible for management of the facilities program completing; performance evaluations, awards and selection of staff and budget for the program. General duties: Provide guidance and technical support for all Architectural, Civil, Environmental, Mechanical and Electrical functions for the Service Unit. Responsible for updating policy & procedures and insuring compliance is met for Service Unit.
