JOBSUMMARY: Undersupervision,provides professionallevelcategorysupportin a varietyof

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES: Coordinates procurementoperationsfora department/unit.Developsbid

packages, initiates and manages bid processaccordingto establishedprocedures,professionalstandards,and award orders. Managesbid challengesaccordingto procedures established by DOAS and employingagency. Interviews vendors to obtaininformationconcerningproducts, price, delivery, and paymentterms.Establishes and maintains maintenance,lease, service and other contracts.Researches andevaluates new supplies andequipment,and reviews bidproposals fromvendors and awards orders.

Performs generalclerical/secretarialduties to assist in office operations.

·Experience with electronicbiddingprocesses.
