JOB SUMMARY :

Under general supervision, performs complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or

operational data analysis and reporting in support of management decision making in functional area. Identifies trends, discrepancies, and variances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. May partner with other departments, divisions, outside agencies, and vendors to address business issues. Exercises various latitudes of independent judgment. May administer or

provide high level support for various projects, grants, contracts, implementation of procedures, and/or any specialized functions. Assists with orientation, training, or providing task guidance of junior team members.

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:

·Provide professional administrative support to the Assistant Deputy Commissioner and Director of Special Operations. Assist division leadership with managing a large scope of responsibility within agency as assigned.

·Complete travel plans and expense reports in Concur.

·Provide a variety of reports upon request.

·Create and maintain equipment inventory and other databases as needed.

·Leads a diverse range of support, operational, and programmatic activities for the department, agency, or facility.

·Recommends and implements policies and procedures.

·Directs subordinate supervisors and staff.

·Provides customer service to internal and external customers.

·Agency personnel, and private businesses at all levels

·Reviews and secures approval for items requiring signatures as instructed.

·Assist Criminal History division with processing of background checks and fingerprints of Special Operations personnel.

·KRONOS manager, P-Card manager, GCIC and Concur.

·Perform business and administrative functions related to the budget.

·Serves as divisional liaison for Hunman Resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree in business or a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience related to area of assignment.

Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·Statewide travel required.

·One (1) or more years of experience using KRONOS

·One (1) or more years of experience using MS Word, Excel PowerPoint.

·One (1) or more years of experience with Concur travel.
