Requirements
Our ideal candidate has the education combined with the experience to administrate all accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions endtoend including:
- Sales Tax Management: Enter and pay sales tax ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Payroll Entries: Process payroll entries and manage payroll records.
- Contractor License Renewal: Oversee and manage contractor license renewals as needed.
- YearEnd Tasks: Perform yearend tax and general ledger entries; review financials and submit to the accountant.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and provide financial reports on demand; oversee annual reports and statespecific tax filings.
- Estimated Tax Payments: Set up and monitor estimated tax payments for owners and manage monthly tax payments for specific individuals.
- Incorporation Notices & Payments: Handle notices and payments related to incorporation.
- Cage Renewal: Manage cage renewal processes.
- Audits: Coordinate audits for liability and workers compensation insurance.
- Special Taxes: Manage special tax obligations for different states (e.g. CA AZ NV TX etc).
- Lines of Credit: Assist with requests for lines of credit in collaboration with the General Manager.
- Client Billing: Handle clientspecific AIA billings in coordination with owners.
- Weekly Reports: Generate and review weekly financial reports.
- Office Staff Guidance: Provide financial guidance and support to office staff.
- Vendor Credit Applications: Assist with vendor credit applications and related documentation.
- City Licenses: Ensure city licenses are uptodate and compliant.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Overhead Bills: Enter and pay overhead bills including office rent payments.
- Subcontractor Certificates of Insurance: Manage and verify subcontractor certificates of insurance.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Controller
- Excellent computer skills
- Organizational and timemanagement skills
- Strong communication skills with a problemsolving attitude
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Deadline and detailoriented
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing and functions
- Flexibility to adapt to the individual needs of the company
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial statements
