Well, they work inside as awarehouse worker and when needed, they’re the ones who drive ourfamiliar brown trucks, bringing packages great and small to ourcustomers. They’re a friendly, physically active crew who enjoybeing outdoors, fast-paced work, and being behind the wheel

While functioning as a Temporary Cover Driveryou will be required to:

  • Work 8 – 10hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday)
  • Have excellent customer contact and drivingskills

While functioning as aWarehouse Worker you will:

  • Typicallywork 3 ½ - 5 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or(Tuesday-Saturday)
  • Be required to work yourassigned shift (based on operational needs)

*UPS full-time small packagedelivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of$145,000 per year. That includes $0 healthcare premiums, up toseven weeks of paid vacation, plus paid time off for holidays, sickleave, and option days. UPS also makes contributions to adefined-benefit pension plan for each employee.

SHIFT YOUR SKILLS

So, what does it take to make it through a busy shifteither loading/unloading boxes or delivering boxes of all shapesand sizes to homes and businesses in your community and beyond?Here are some examples:

  • The abilityto lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Stamina – this is aworkout like no other
  • Valid driver’slicense—no CDL required (Type varies by State)
  • Pass the DOT physical
  • Excellent customer contact and driving skills
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Package Delivery Drivers are expected tocomply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provideduniform
