The Monmouth County Engineering and Traffic Division has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Traffic Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE:
•Five years’ Traffic Engineer work experience including the following:
•Analyses and interpretation of traffic data and traffic operations;
•Knowledge in NJDOT roadway design manual, MUTCD, HCM, ITE guidelines, AASHTO and Title 39;
•Working with traffic control systems and maintenance and protection of traffic including detours;
•Preparation of specifications for traffic related items and activities.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

LICENSE(S):
Must have a valid New Jersey driver’s license;
Professional Engineer (PE) License a plus.
