Grundfos is seeking an experienced Master Planner to join its Supply Chain team. The Master Planner will balance supply and demand while specializing in implementing best practices. They will be responsible for creating, executing, and monitoring the production management system while reporting performance to the business plan, shipment, inventory, and the production plan. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and will operate daily out of the Brookshire, Texas facility.

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and logistics and collaborate with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve customer needs.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to periodically compare current and anticipated orders with available inventory components while using sales plans to anticipate demand and communicate forecasts.
  • Calculating and maintaining accurate reorder points, lot sizes, safety stocks balancing supply requirements with inventory targets and minimizing slow moving inventory.
  • Running segmentation process and analyzing gaps between target and confirmed lead times.
  • Monitor and report daily production orders, production outputs, activity hours, inventory, lead times, supply chain KPI's, and Grundfos Production System (GPS).
  • Prepare and lead weekly capacity meetings, Master Production Scheduling meetings and monthly SIOP meetings.
  • Preparing the annual plant demand, capacity budget, and monitor monthly actuals.
  • Lead the introduction of new products and follow up internally with stakeholders to ensure activities are completed on time to ensure project execution timelines are met.
Your background:

We imagine that you have:
  • A bachelor's degree in in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7+ years of Supply Planning experience with 5+ years in Master Planner or Senior Demand Planning role in a high mix manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • APICS Certification preferred.
  • Through and in-depth knowledge of ERP Systems, master production scheduling, production planning and capacity planning.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
