Avant Garde Day Spa, an Aveda Concept Salon and Spa, is seeking Cosmetologists to join our team

A Cosmetologist at Avant Garde must exceed guest expectations in providing services of hair styling cuts, color, facial treatments, manicures and pedicures. They will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to interact with a wide range of clientele. We look for Cosmetologists that maximize their service skills and product sales within an Aveda Concept Salon and Spa. Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply Experienced Cosmetologists are always welcome. Part time and full time schedules are available.

Essential Functions:

  • Implement Aveda experience & philosophies (Training provided)
  • Provide exceptional guest service
  • Maintain high standard of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Must be dependable, punctual, fun, energetic and courteous professional
  • Attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings
  • Perform guest consultation and post treatment recommendations with ability to educate guests on products and home regimens
  • Have a desire to continue to learn and develop skills through ongoing training
  • Recommend products and treatments based on their need
  • Apply or create hair cuts, styles, and color services
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

  • Maintain a current cosmetology license or acquire one within 90 days
