The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for an Physician (Gastroenterologist). The Physician (Gastroenterologist) will function in Medicine Service.
Duties
VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. .Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)
Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory

The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LSVAMC) seeks an outstanding Gastroenterologist at the assistant professor level to join the Medical Service. Duties will consist primarily of gastroenterology with a clinical focus in pancreatobiliary disorders and
interventional endoscopy. The individual will have a clinical practice with an academic emphasis, involving the education of fellows, residents and medical students. Interested applicants must be US Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and be
proficient in all basic endoscopic procedures, as well as advanced procedures including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, and double balloon enteroscopy. Proficiency in advanced endoscopic techniques such placing Axios stents, EMR and RFA preferred. The successful candidate must have
evidence of academic excellence including contemporary peer reviewed publications and presentations of research at national meetings.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
