Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling using various software program
  • Analysis and design of stormwater drainage system, bridge and culverts, dams & levees, flood plains, stormwater quality systems, etc.
  • Prepare civil design and grading for flood control, drainage, and stormwater management projects.
  • Write technical report and technical memorandum
  • Field work for site reconnaissance
  • Provide assistance with Project Management
  • Mentoring and training junior level staff
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Face to face interaction with clients
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS and 4+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License with good driving record required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering preferred.
  • PE in NY or NJ or ability to acquire within 6 months desired
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in the following:
    • water resource related experience
    • hydrologic and hydraulic modeling concept and principles;
    • hydrologic and hydraulic models (HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in ArcGIS and AutoCAD/ Civil 3D
  • Strong analytical and computation skill​​​​​​s
