Requirements:
Active Iowa license
Must hold MD or DO degrees and have completed a psychiatry residency
Minimum 3 years experience

Responsibilities:
Conduct professional routine and emergency examinations on patients.
Provide inpatient psychiatric treatment to patients
Make recommendations for the treatment of behavioral or psychiatric disorder.
Make electronic entries in patient medical record.
Comply with all applicable Federal Regulations as well as Department and FacilityPolicies and Procedures.
Provide assistance to the physician(s) with both routine and emergency procedures.
Document treatment provided and tests administered in appropriate formats on required forms on each visit to the facility.
Ensure availability to staff by telephone voice mail email pager and intrafacility mail as necessary.
