The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individual to join our Nephrology team. This is a Part Time, fixed term position, working 64 hours per fortnight with potential to extend, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus

Your new role:

Utilise specialised social work skills and knowledge to ensure excellence in Nephrology patient management Provide quality care to Nephrology patients at various stages of their health care continuum including dialysis, renal supportive care and transplantation Work with a dynamic and experienced renal social work team

About You:

Qualifications which are acceptable for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Skills in comprehensive assessment, discharge and counselling Possess an understanding of relevant legislation and practice framework relating to family violence
