Description

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Entertainment and in coordination with the President of Entertainment and Brand Management, plus Hard Rock International casino property leadership, the Regional Manager of Booking & Talent Buying is responsible for booking and talent buying strategies, negotiations, and coordination of productions for events at Hard Rock International entertainment venues including but not limited to properties in Northern Indiana, Cincinnati, Bristol, Rockford, Bristol, and Ottawa. This individual is additionally responsible for overseeing contract compliance and financial settlements, while at the same time building and maintaining relationships with people in the entertainment industry. 

Responsibilities

Responsible for booking and buying talent for each venue. Research opportunities; coordinate with individual property leadership; work with promoters and agents on content procurement process; and negotiate and submit offers for shows. After show is confirmed, develop a marketing budget and build a ticket plan in conjunction with individual property leads. Build ticket plans and scale maps in collaboration with each venue’s box office. Ensure the dissemination of confirmed event information to operations teams. Build show offers and submit to the venue and agent for review and confirmation. Responsible for overseeing the settling of shows which includes gathering all invoices, issuing payments and making sure the artist and venue are all settled accordingly. Partner with the marketing, ticketing and promotional departments to ensure a profitable and successful show. Cross-book and share information across the broader ecosystem of Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming properties. Conduct prospecting activities to support new business opportunities across all Hard Rock entertainment venues. Develop creative properties that can be grown into annual events to remain competitive in the market. Create show or event budgets, monitor spending and make sure events stay within budget Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Able to make informed business decisions and explain rationale; remain result-oriented when tracking the linkage between marketing techniques and measurable financial results. Demonstrated business acumen including but not limited to analyzing business trends, short and long-term goal planning, budgeting, forecasting and implementing business and strategic plans. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff and employees. Excellent and efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize workload. Ability to present recommendations, recaps, and reports effectively in oral and written form. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, clients and vendors as necessary. Able to work a flexible schedule including working holidays and weekends
