Hours: 38 Hours per week

Salary:£24, per annum

South Glasgow Alcohol & Drug Recovery Hub is based in Carlton Place area in Glasgow with excellent transport links. SGADRH supports people experiencing Drug /Alcohol addiction, we provide recovery support for abstinence and Harm Reduction within a community setting.

Hi, I’m K and I have been attending the South Glasgow Recovery Hub since September . I self-referred to the hub for support for my ongoing addiction. My life has been difficult as I have been impacted with trauma, due to my addiction I have no positive relationships with family or friends.

The hub has provided me with support and amazing opportunities with to deal with my trauma and substance use by attending in hub groups, as well as regular meeting with my keyworker.

When it comes to supporting me, it is imperative that I have someone I can build a relationship up with to ensure there is trust, patience and empathy. It’s important that my keyworker has genuine values, understanding of addiction, with a friendly approach.

Please note previous applicants need not apply. Experience of Social care / addiction is required.

If successful but unqualified, you will have to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory requirements but don’t worry we will support you with this.
