This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Child Support Services.

Salary: The salary range indicated in this announcement will be adjusted to include locality payment for selected duty location. General Schedule locality pay tables may be found under .

Duties

Serves as a project officer for OCSS grants and waivers covering various program initiatives and efforts intended to further improve the child support program. Stays abreast of new ideas, initiatives, and promising practices that could result in program improvements and/or improve policy and practice across the entirety of the child support program's core functions. Monitors and evaluates the degree to which child support grantees attain project objectives, including how cost effective, measurable outcomes to families, sustainability of new approaches, and partnerships with community resources to achieve optimum grant performance. Analyzes proposed initiatives and/or projects to determine potential impact on programs, goals, and objectives and prepares recommendations for review by lead program specialist or supervisor. Oversees the publication process, and monitors the actions of the OGM employees for timeliness and accuracy. Identifies appropriately neutral, yet knowledgeable, individuals to serve as grant review panel members.
