OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial procedures and controls.
  • Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • 3 + years as an Accountant preferably in the manufacturing space.
  • Knowledge around job costing and inventory.
  • Advanced in excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)
  • Experience working with ERP accounting system; Made2Manage software, a plus.
