Paradise Animal Hospital is dedicated to providing unparalleled medical care in an atmosphere of uncompromising compassion so our patients live long and healthy lives. We are seeking a part- time Associate Veterinarian to join our amazing team

We are a successful 6 doctor practice looking to include another veterinarian to the team. Our exceptional doctors value our ability to work as a team and play off each other’s strengths. We would prefer to incorporate doctors in our practice with at least 1- 2 years work experience, but any level of experience will be considered.

In addition to our clinical space, our practice includes an on-site rehabilitation facility with an underwater treadmill. The rehabilitation program is currently overseen by a Canine Rehabilitation Certified Veterinarian. We also have doctors who participate in clinical trials that offer our clients access to cutting-edge treatments for conditions such as osteoarthritis and Mast Cell Tumors. Outstanding equipment to practice quality medicine along with Ultrasound

Qualifications

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Maryland
  • Accomplished surgical and dental skills preferred
  • Interest in working with exotics would be plus, but not required

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to deliver a consistent quality of medical care to our patients
  • Communicate effectively with both clients and team members
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records
  • Work with the team in a collaborative and positive manner
  • This position will be comprised of day, evening, and weekend shifts

Paradise Animal Hospital is a progressive, full-spectrum, small animal practice located in Catonsville, MD, close to Baltimore and surrounding cities. We are a team-motivated, client focused practice with strong attention to preventative medicine as well as a team approach to cases. Our dental care at Paradise is well known for its excellence and we offer dental radiography, 2 dental tables and outstanding technical staff. In addition to our hospital space, our practice includes an on-site rehabilitation facility that has an underwater treadmill and full time rehabilitation team. Currently we have 3 doctors that are certified in rehabilitation as well as one technician, CCRT. We offer acupuncture services as well.

Our hospital offers both in-house and reference laboratory capabilities (IDEXX), digital radiology, excellent surgical monitoring capabilities, and Improved computer software used throughout the hospital. Our medical records are electronic.
