Duties

You will:

Evaluate project data to determine environmental impacts to ground and surface water, conduct hydrogeological investigations for siting wells, and develop best management plans for protecting groundwater; Prepare and review site-specific studies and data, technical evaluations, and documents for advising internal and external parties on conclusions/recommendations related to groundwater contamination fate and transport, treatment, and supply; Serve as an expert for two or more National Primary Drinking Water regulations specific to groundwater contamination, treatment, and protection; Represent Drinking Water Programs on regional and national committees/workgroups and develop and present information and respond to questions concerning the impacts of contaminants on soil, groundwater, and surface water.
