Live at the beach while practicing quality medicine. Located in Cedar Point, NC, Brigadoon Animal Hospital has been in business for over 30 years. We are looking for a full time, part time and/or relief DVM to join our team. Our busy practice that to both locals and vacationers. We owe our longevity to our wonderful client base that appreciates our service and commitment to excellent care and high medical standards.

We offer both veterinary services for dogs and cats and have on-site boarding. We are equipped to handle medical, surgical and dental services and have up-to-date equipment to include Procyte and Catalyst DX, digital radiography, Sedivue, ultrasound, and dental machine. We offer a competitive salary and benefits including health care, 401(k), CE allowance, vacation, dues, and liability coverage. After-hours emergencies are referred to one of three emergency clinics in our area.

We welcome all levels of experience, but would prefer someone with strong surgical skills, both in soft tissue and orthopedics. Good communication skills are essential, as well as a strong work ethic. A doctor with an excellent personality and good sense of humor is also preferred. While there are hospital standards that are adhered to by all associates, such as vaccination schedules and other preventative care, our doctors are not expected to fall into a mold. Our environment encourages individual modes of practicing medicine and welcomes new ideas, as medicine is ever evolving. Our doctors work closely with one another and a positive team atmosphere is encouraged.
