Requirements:
Paraprofessional Certification
Minimum 1 year experience working in a school setting

Responsibilities:
Assist licensed staff in the classroom.
Support students in school under the supervision of a teacher.
Aid students in meeting their individualized education plan (IEP).
Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
Assist the teacher in preparing materials and equipment for direct instructional activity.
Locate collate distribute and/or group materials to support instructional activities planned by the teacher.
Work with individuals and/or small groups when activities and assignments are presented.
Provide extra assistance to students with exceptionalities.
Provide positive enforcement to maximize student s ability to learn and reduce disruptive or inappropriate behavior.
Maintain a cooperative working relationship with supervising teacher students parents staff and public.
Other duties as assigned.
