Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Mid-Level Transportation Drainage Project Manager to be based in Dallas or Fort Worth, Texas.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:
• Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,
• Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,
• Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
• Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
• Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
• Manages other Project Managers.Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

  • 4+ years of previous design experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and/or Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E)

  • Texas PE license

  • Experience designing highway/roadway systems and drainage systems

  • Experience with GeoPak Drainage, SWMM, HY-8, and HEC Programs

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project with subconsultants

  • Experience with design software including MicroStation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads

  • Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project) is a big plus

  • Experience with H&H reports

  • Experience with SUDA

  • Experience in preparing CLOMR/LOMR and Coordination with Local Flood Plain Administrators/Agencies

  • TxDOT Pre-certifications (Schematic Development, Roadway Design, Hydrologic Studies, Roadway Hydraulic Design, Bridge Hydraulic Design, Storm Water Pump Station-Hydraulic Design, Bridge Scour Evaluation and Analysis, Coastal Hydraulic Design, Riverive Hydraulic Design, and FEMA Regulations and Permits)

  • Experience with Business Development/Client Relations

  • Experience with TxDOT proposals and interviews

  • Proven experience of success with TxDOT pursuits

  • Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development

  • Good communication skills and ability to manage a team

  • Exposure to drainage projects in Edwards Aquifer Zone and Water Quality Plans

  • Exposure to drainage system in coastal environments
