Located on 174 Acres in DeKalb County,  Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta  operates 300 licensed, accredited inpatient beds in three major program areas: Adult Mental Health, Forensic Services, and Developmental Disabilities. In addition, GRH/Atlanta also offers inpatient and outpatient Dental Services.

The hourly psychologist is expected to work at least two days per week and eligible to work up to 29 hours per week. This position requires working at least three Saturdays per month and has flexibility for additional hours Monday through Friday.

Experience serving psychiatric inpatients and individuals with severe mental illness Excellent writing and organizational skills Experience working on interdisciplinary teams Experience providing psychological assessment Experience providing group interventions This opportunity will close when we have an adequate candidate field and/or filled the position. FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE BACKGROUND CHECK AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT. B9876 Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice psychology AND One year of experience at the lower level Psychologist 1 (HCP140) or equivalent. Note: License may be temporary, provisional, or permanent.
