Our client is seeking a Direct Hire for a Senior Assurance Associate to join their fastgrowing accounting firm in the Chicago area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a progressive firm that provides highquality accounting auditing and taxation services to privately held companies and their owners.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan lead and execute assurance engagements (compilations reviews and audits).
• Analyze and assess financial statements and internal controls.
• Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements.
• Supervise train and mentor junior team members providing constructive feedback.
• Handle complex transactions and provide technical expertise to clients.
• Ensure compliance with laws regulations GAAP and GAAS standards.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure timely resolution of matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Five years of accounting experience.
• At least three years of experience in public accounting (CPA preferred).
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online Microsoft Office Caseware and Datasnipper.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
