Position: Tow Truck Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tow Truck Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in towing and transport operations as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. This is a fulltime permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage a team of tow truck drivers ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently

Schedule and assign tasks to drivers taking into account availability and workload

Train and mentor new drivers ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

Monitor and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies including tow trucks tools and safety gear

Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

Coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely response to service calls and efficient routing for drivers

Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Maintain accurate records of all towing and transport activities including invoices payments and vehicle information

Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive technology or related field is a plus

Minimum of 3 years of experience in towing and transport operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role

Strong knowledge of towing equipment and techniques as well as local and state regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities

Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office and towing software

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed by our community.
