Position Overview:Recess Pediatric Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This role involves conducting evaluations and treatment sessions at our clinic locations. If you are passionate about making a difference in childrens lives and enjoy working in a dynamic environment this role is for you
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the speech and language therapy needs of pediatric clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and the unique needs of each child.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services including interventions to enhance communication skills speech production language comprehension and social communication.
  • Collaborate with families caregivers and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Monitor and document progress towards therapy goals adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support the childs communication development at home.
  • Participate in team meetings case conferences and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech and language therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of California.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of speech and language development articulation disorders phonological disorders and other relevant therapy techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with children families and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with research and best practices in pediatric speech and language therapy.
