Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to system performance, security, and connectivity. Manage system backups, patches, and updates for both Windows and Linux servers. Perform advanced configuration, including user profile management, group policies, and file system permissions. Ensure that systems comply with security policies and best practices. Perform periodic system health checks and optimizations to ensure high availability. Assist in the deployment and configuration of new systems or upgrades. Document system changes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting both Windows Server and Linux operating systems. Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, group policy, and network services (NFS, FTP, SMB). Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell) for automating routine tasks. Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) and backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Acronis). Basic understanding of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
