Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a CAD Technician to work with Senior CAD Personnel in delivering services for a wide variety of projects including Airport Terminals, K-12 Schools and facility projects for local state agencies.

This position will report to the Senior CAD Tech in the Building and Places CAD group in Hunt Valley, MD.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Working under direct supervision performing moderately complex technical work utilizing instructions, drawings, sketches and results from computer systems and schematics.
  • May be involved in training and supervising technical personnel.
  • May perform some data entry.
  • Interfacing with the Building and Places Design teams consisting of Architecture, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical.
  • Interfacing with other groups outside of the Hunt Valley office depending on project team requirements.

Minimum Requirements
Highschool Diploma + 2 years of demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications
  • Capabilities with utilizing AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Revit/BIM is preferred but not a requirement
  • Understanding of other software such as Civil 3D is preferred but not required
