The Production Supervisor-3rd Shift leads and coordinates the activities of their shift to realize production targets. This includes assisting with all material supply in line with Production plan to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations and supporting any other operational areas needs. Located at HARIBO of America's brand new, state-of-the-art food manufacturing plant in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (Kenosha area, on I-94), the ideal Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift, will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, a minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory or management level position, and at least 1 or more years of experience working in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Additionally, we offer community involvement opportunities and career growth opportunities.Responsibilities: Lead 3rd shift (Third shift) factory operations to deliver quality product, done correctly, and on-timePromote and maintain good employee relations with associatesBuild positive working relationships with teammates, coach, mentor, train, and develop staffCollaborate with Technical Support team, Maintenance team, Safety team, Quality-Food Safety team, and other internal departmentsMonitor line performance and ensure output, labor and material standards are achieved meeting HARIBO's high quality standardsQualifications:Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment2+ years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing environmentDemonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Word and ExcelDemonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAvailable to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demandsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree preferredPrior experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturingPrior experience with processing equipment in food/pharma manufacturingPrior experience using SAP in a manufacturing environmentTPM and/or Lean Manufacturing experienceBasic knowledge of industrial equipment, industrial maintenanceBasic Financial understanding to ensure business results are deliveredWhat can you expect?You will be part of a successful family-run company with core values that is growing internationally faster than ever before.
