Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Full-Time Instructor (Electrical Line Worker) position in the Academic and Student Affairs division, Industrial and Transportation Technology department. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College’s main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta.

Under general supervision of the Dean of Industrial & Transportation Technology, the Full-Time Electrical Line Worker instructor must be able to select and assess student learning outcomes, foster effective learning in both classroom and lab settings, and promote good public relations via contacts and regular communication with business, industry, and the public sector.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

Assist with developmental and review of program and syllabi, goals and objectives according to approved curriculum and course syllabi standards. Evaluate and review students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives. Advice and counsel students and maintain appropriate records for each student. Demonstrate and ensure the use of appropriate and effective teaching techniques, testing and grading procedures (including proper maintenance of grade books and any other appropriate record-keeping requirements). Display excellent oral and written communication skills. Maintain and review classrooms and laboratories in accordance with approved classroom and lab management plans. Maintain and review program certification requirements, as appropriate. Prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports.
