Position Type:Permanent Full Time/Part Time:Part Time
Open Until Filled.
$15.13 hourly.Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. NorthArea. Part-time/up to 25hours per week.Work schedule is variable and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs entry-level paraprofessional work conducting games, special events, arts and crafts, and other group activities at a County recreation area.
REQUIREMENTS:Some experience, paid or volunteer, in leisure activities or working with children. Experience utilizing personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and Vermont Systems Rec-Trac is preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must possess, or obtain prior to employment,a valid Florida Driver‘s license and maintain said license during the term of employment. The applicant will be disqualified from further consideration for the position if a Level I background criminal background investigation, performed in accordance with Brevard County Administrative Order 5 (AO-5), discloses the applicant has disqualifying convictions (AO-5). In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, theemployeewill be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
