Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Missouri.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist preferably in a rehabilitation or longterm care setting.
Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles assessment techniques and evidencebased treatment approaches.
Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized assessments to evaluate functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Compassionate and clientcentered approach with a genuine interest in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate and uptodate patient records.
Ability to work effectively in a teambased environment promoting collaboration and interdisciplinary care.
Knowledge of relevant laws regulations and ethical guidelines governing occupational therapy practice.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of treating injured ill or disabled consumers through the use of everyday activities.
Knowledge of principles and methods used to develop and implement individual treatment plans and the use of adaptive equipment designed to assist in selfhelp tasks.
Ability to plan organize lead and adapt planned therapeutic activities in accordance with patient s needs.
Evaluate and record progress for use in billing reporting and assessment
