Smart Factory Intern

This position is in the Supply Chain Performance team for North America supporting the Smart Factory/DC initiative.
This is an exciting position that will afford the candidate exposure to cutting edge 4IR technologies in the manufacturing realm. Initial focus will lie heavily in exploration of Private 5G as currently deployed in the Lexington, KY manufacturing facility.
What will you do as a Smart Factory Intern?
- Project team participation
- Use case results reporting
- P5G analysis and differentiator identification
- Regular meeting / collaboration with external teams.
- Technical contributor
- Mobile device troubleshooting
- Signal strength evaluation
- Use case testing (speed/latency/reliability/etc.)
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Communication knowledge
- Ethernet IP addressing (WiFi / LAN)
- Establishing enterprise (Schneider Digital) network connections.
- Mobile device security
- Basic PC coding experience
- Basic understanding of Javascript Object Notation (JSON)
- Basic Python experience is a plus.
- Strong work ethic
- Capable of self-start learning
- Able to research and learn with minimal training
- Aggressively seeks documentation self-learns
- Positive and engaged as a change agent for new technologies and digital transformation with plant resources
