As an integral part of Digital Manufacturing Value Team, the Sr. Infra Engineer is charged with hands on technical systems and applications support within Digital capabilities in support of client’s Division’s global shopfloor analytical instruments.

· Integrating instruments into our vendor products and platforms for automated data movement lifecycle

· Managing Linux and windows platforms, database servers, system patch releases and any dependencies / issues with vendor products

· Managing vendor applications, interfaces and services, communication protocols between devices, routers, network, and application services. Tracking change requests for deployments

· Addressing and tracking tickets with reported issues and collaboration with support team

Qualifications:

· Worked with data movement and networking protocols

· Experience with data interfaces and related network interface protocols, i.e. TCP/IP, CIFS/SMB, NFS, etc.

· Data acquisition, instrument interfaces, device connectivity or equivalent experience

· 3 – 5 years related Linux / windows / SQL servers, networking experience and skill with use of languages and tools such as (Kubernetes, Kafka, Dockers, Python, C/C++, C#, .NET, Java, Perl)

Preferred:

· Supported Windows/Linux environments with vendor products installed

· Laboratory and instrumentation automation

· Worked in a cross functional enterprise IT, Networking and communication teams

· Fair comprehension of pharma SDLC process

· Supported change / release management process with tickets management

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until Aug 11 2024. The annual salary for this position is between $90K - $110K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
