The Animal Cancer Care and Research Center (ACCRC) invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time, calendar-year, Professor of Practice position as a Veterinary Hospitalist. The successful candidate will serve as a critical member of our integrated oncology team collaborating closely with board certified veterinary oncologists, surgeons, and radiation therapists to ensure comprehensive and compassionate cancer treatment. The duties of this position have a strong emphasis towards clinical service by providing care to dogs and cats diagnosed with cancer. The successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to clinical instruction of DVM students. Your appointment is an assistant/associate professor of practice position in the Small Animal Clinical Sciences department. The official reporting line is to the Director of the Animal Cancer Care and Research Center, with a dotted line reporting to the Head of the Small Animal Clinical Science Department.

Required Qualifications
• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Significant clinical experience, which can include internship or residency training.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Completion of a residency training program approved by the American College of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) or American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM).
• Completion on an internship.
