Summary
: The Clinical Resource Nurse demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. The clinical resource nurse is a registered nurse who serves as clinical expert in theory-based and/or research-based nursing practice within a clinical area. The clinical resource nurse is also responsible for assisting the nurse manager in organizing the unit specific orientation, training and development of staff. The Clinical Resource Nurse functions as role model educator and provides clinical leadership to an interdisciplinary team. The Clinical Resource Nurse reports to the Associate Chief Nurse of Professional Governance and Innovation.Work Schedule: Days with rotation as needed

Notifications : This is a NAGE Bargaining Unit position. Current employees must submit copies of their most recent Sf-50, (Notice of Personnel Action). The SF-50 must identify the position title, series, grade, step, tenure and type of service (Competitive or Excepted). In some cases, more than one SF-50 may be required to show a higher grade previously held. This position is in the Excepted Service. For internal selectees being promoted, the grade and step will be determined in accordance with policy. Veterans preference does not apply for other current permanent Federal agency employees.
